Some Alipay, China UnionPay and other China payment interfaces limit the Chinese-name field to four characters. If your full legal name is longer or contains “·”—common in some Uyghur, Tibetan, Mongolian, Kazakh and other Chinese ethnic minority names—choose Global Pay when it is displayed in the Client Portal.
Use Global Pay for a long Chinese legal name
Sign in to the Client Portal and open Deposit.
Choose Global Pay when it is displayed for your profile.
Enter your full legal name exactly as registered with FXTRADING.com and your payment account. Do not shorten the name, remove characters, split the name or omit “·” to fit another channel’s limit.
Follow the current on-screen payment instructions and keep the order or reference number and payment proof until the deposit is credited.
Why do Alipay or China UnionPay say my name exceeds four characters?
This normally means that the specific third-party payment interface cannot accept the full name format. Correct name matching and field compatibility are separate requirements. The message does not mean that your FXTRADING.com profile or legal name is invalid, and it does not mean that every Alipay or China UnionPay route supports a longer name.
What if Global Pay is not displayed or still rejects my name?
Do not abbreviate your name or use another person’s payment account. Use only the deposit methods currently shown in your Client Portal. For account-specific help, open Service Hub, select Create Ticket, and include the payment channel, exact error text, any order or reference number, and a screenshot with unrelated private payment details hidden. Never share a password or one-time password (OTP).
