Which documents can I use as Proof of Address?

Proof of Address (PoA) is a document used to confirm your current residential address. Submit it only when the Verification flow in the Client Portal asks for it.

What if I cannot continue or resubmit verification?

Use the Verification flow in your Client Portal for Proof of Identity (PoI), face or liveness verification, and Proof of Address (PoA). Follow the instructions shown there.

  1. If the Verification flow no longer allows another submission, sign in to the Client Portal.

  2. Open Service Hub from the left-hand navigation.

  3. Select Create Ticket.

  4. Choose Verification.

  5. Ask the Customer Support Team to reset or reopen your Verification flow. Include the verification step and the exact message shown.

Do not attach or upload copies of your identity document or Proof of Address to this ticket. Do not send them through email or Live Chat. If FXTRADING.com specifically asks for other additional supporting evidence, upload only those requested supporting documents through the Verification ticket. After the flow has been reset, return to the Verification section in the Client Portal and complete the requested identity, face or liveness, or address-verification step there.

This guide is for an individual customer. Corporate or other account types can require different documents.

What must the document show?

The document must:

  • show your full legal name;

  • show your complete current residential address;

  • identify the issuing organisation;

  • show an issue or statement date within the last 90 days;

  • be clear, complete and unaltered;

  • include all required pages; and

  • match the information registered in your Client Portal, or clearly support an approved address update.

Use a residential address. A mailing address or post-office box alone does not establish a current residential address.

Which document types can I submit?

Use a document category displayed in the Verification flow in the Client Portal. Common categories include:

  • official government correspondence or a government-issued residency document;

  • an electricity, water, gas, fixed-line, mobile or internet bill;

  • a bank statement or bank confirmation issued by an eligible regulated financial institution; or

  • an official tax or government assessment that shows the required residential-address information.

The issuer, country and document type must be supported by the Verification flow in the Client Portal. A rental agreement, informal letter, online shopping invoice or other document not displayed as eligible should not be assumed acceptable.

Can I use an identity document as Proof of Address?

Proof of Identity and Proof of Address should normally be separate documents. If the Verification flow in the Client Portal specifically offers a government identity document that shows your current residential address as a PoA option, follow that instruction. Do not submit a passport as PoA merely because it was accepted as Proof of Identity.

Which languages are accepted?

PoA is not universally restricted to English. Submit the original document through the Verification flow in the Client Portal.

If the document language is not supported and the flow requests a translation, provide both:

  • the original document; and

  • a notarized English translation showing clear translated text, the translator's name and signature, the notary's name and signature, and the official notary seal or stamp.

Do not submit a self-translation or a translation created by editing the original image.

Which files or images can I upload?

Use a file type accepted by the upload control. Depending on the document, this can include:

  • an original PDF downloaded directly from the issuer's official portal;

  • a clear, high-resolution scan of the complete document; or

  • a clear photo of the original physical document with all edges visible.

Do not upload a screenshot, cropped image, edited file, blurred image or document with missing pages. Do not add marks, filters, highlights or digital alterations to the original.

How do I submit PoA?

  1. Sign in to the official FXTRADING.com Client Portal.

  2. Open the Verification flow requesting Proof of Address.

  3. Select the correct document category.

  4. Upload the original file, scan or photo accepted by the control.

  5. Confirm that the name, address, issuer, date and complete document are readable.

  6. Submit the document.

  7. Return to the Verification flow to monitor its status and any action message.

Do not send PoA through ordinary email or chat when the secure upload control in the Verification flow is available.

What does “Needs resubmission” mean?

Open the Verification flow and read the recorded reason. Correct that specific issue and resubmit through the secure flow.

If the reason is blank or unclear, the document category is not available, or a valid local government document cannot be processed by the automated flow, contact support through the signed-in Client Portal for review. Do not repeatedly upload the same file without knowing the recorded issue.

Document acceptance is confirmed after the document has been submitted and reviewed.
